Hedgehog Haven Essex is a hedgehog rescue and rehabilitation centre based in Tiptree but also covering the Colchester and Frinton areas.
The centre is run by a small but dedicated team of wildlife lovers working on a completely voluntary basis out of our own homes.
We offer help and advice to people and sanctuary to sick and injured hedgehogs, many of which require Veterinary treatment, surgery or medication.

If you find a hedgehog out in the day, it definitely needs help. Hedgehogs are nocturnal and will only come out in the day if they are sick or injured.
Hedgehog Haven receive no funding and rely solely on donations. We will try everything possible to help a hedgehog survive and veterinary bills can run very high. As well as medical bills, we also provide fresh food, fresh bedding and medication on a daily basis.
We are extremely grateful to receive donations and thank those that do for allowing us to continue providing the best care to our Hedgehogs.
